“Faces of Brunswick” makes its second Historic Brunswick appearance at the Brunswick library gallery space for the month of August, 2022. This is the second showing of this series in downtown Brunswick.
I am always happy to support local fundraisers and Stephanie Conti Photography was a proud sponsor of the Oglethorpe Point Elementary School Fall Festival, a yearly event which brings families together in a safe and fun environment.
“Faces of Brunswick” is a project highlighting the people behind the businesses in the growing port city of Historic Brunswick, Georgia. With its revitalization continually filling more empty spaces in the area, the charm and sense of community becomes magnetic for locals and tourists alike. “Faces of Brunswick” was displayed at Blue Cottage Market in Brunswick in July, 2021.
In May 2021, Stephanie Conti Photography was a proud silver level sponsor of the Junior League of the Golden Isles Character Breakfast. The Junior League prides itself on empowering women and children through education. The character breakfast is an annual event to bring families together and connect them with their favorite characters!
In March 2021, Port City Park in Brunswick in conjunction with The Art House called for artists to interpret their prompt of “a rising tide lifts all ships.” “Rising Tide,” an image captured in the port of Brunswick was chosen for the show and is currently displayed in the Port City Lofts in historic downtown Brunswick. It is a juxtaposition of small shrimping boat and massive cargo ship and reiterates the coexistence of both in the harbor and vitality of the city. It is framed in 100 year old barn wood refurbished from the Brunswick area.
I was honored to be one of 65 artists out of over 650 submissions chosen to exhibit work at the Carriage Barn Arts Center’s 40th annual juried photography show. This year, world renowned photographer Stephen Wilkes juried the show and chose his pieces based on the “soul” that shown through each one. “Memories 2” is for sale and on display until February 2020.
